"The strength of our relationship is built om mutual trust and mutual understanding, so that no explanations are necessary if either of us has to step beyond the small conventions of our society. The neighbors may lift their eyebrows when they see me with my arms around another man, but I know what I'm doing. More importantly, Jeff knows what I'm doing. He supported me, nourished me, and freed me to grow. His touch  has freed me to touch others without fear."
